Disabling Network Device

Postby googleman on Thu Nov 29, 2007 11:45 pm

Hey,

Anyone out there know how to disable a network device? I've removed all pointers to it in /etc/ on Solaris, but I still seem to get traffic passing over the interface. It's plugged into the network for backup, but it shouldn't be doing anything (not plumbed or up)

Any ideas?

Thanks!
